Concept: Theragnosis: integrated device for therapy (targeted drug delivery under stimulus) and diagnosis (molecular multi-modal imaging)

The development of a multiscale integrated chemistry opens the way to new therapeutic and diagnostic approaches. We will focus, in this project on one of the major challenges in modern medicine which is the treatment of cancer associated with the presence of metastases. The ultimate challenge, that we wish to address here, is to combine diagnosis and treatment of this phenomenon at the earliest possible stage, an ideal strategy recently coined “theragnosis” involving simultaneous targeting, carrying, imaging and delivery of new drugs.
