Presentation du projet
This project aims at boosting the sensitivity of Raman spectroscopy applied to biomaterials using
near-infrared excitation (785nm) and also tip-enhancement (TERS). Specifically, the multiple
chemical forms of “calcification” (kidney stones) associated to various kidney pathologies will be
identified at the early stage of their formation, to propose an early diagnosis to patients and avoid
heavy costs to the society associated to final stage treatments and eventually transplantations.
