This project is centered around the development of two THz spectrometers: a Raman THz spectrometer and a THz spectrometer based on a frequency multiplication chain. The goal is the study of systems exhibited low energy modes, for example the movement of breathing in nano objects or collective vibrations in the natural or synthetic polymers. All these low energy modes expected between 0.1 and 3 THz will be studied by two complementary instruments.
